How to get there
Freising and the Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus are well located and easy to find.
By Train / Suburban Train S-1
In Freising there is a train station on the route between Munich and Landshut as well as the last stop of the suburban train S-1. From Munich main station take the suburban train S-1 to Freising. You can reach the Domberg, where the Kardinal-Döpfner-Haus is situated, in only 10 minutes by foot or you go by cab.
By Car
You can get to Freising via the Autobahnen (motorways) Munich-Nürnberg (A9) and Munich-Deggendorf (A92) or via the Bundesstraße B11 (A-road). Coming from the South it is best to go via the motorway junction Neufahrn in the direction of Deggendorf and then take the slip road Freising-Süd (Freising-South). Coming from the North you get to Freising via the slip road Allershausen.
By Plane (from Munich Airport)
From Munich Airport it is 4 km to Freising station, which you can go by bus line 635 from Airport Terminal within 15 min. Then take a cab or go by foot for 10min.
